The sherpa's surround is made of durable heavy denier fabric and the steel frame is extremely sturdy and durable, holding over 200 pounds.
The K&H Self-warming Pet Cot assembles and disassembles in minutes – no tools necessary. Cleans easy by wiping with a damp cloth or even hosing it off outdoors.

What is the frame made of?
The frame is made of metal tubing and durable plastic corner connectors.
What is your self-warming material composed of?
The self-warming material is actually metalized plastic, similar to that in which you’ll find in space blankets. This metallic property basically allows the pet’s body heat to reflect back to your pet.
Could a self-warming product be used outside?
While our self-warming products are great for the indoors, they are not designed to return enough body heat for the cold outdoor temperatures of winter. Rather, they are designed to elevate the temperature of a pet bed that is already around room temperature.
