Does this come with the Pet Cot frame and support legs?

No, this is only a cover. A complete Pet Cot needs to be purchased separately in order to receive the frame and support legs. The Original Pet Cot or Self-Warming Pet Cot will work with this product.

What is your self-warming material composed of?

The self-warming material is actually metalized plastic, similar to that in which you’ll find in space blankets. This metallic property basically allows the pet’s body heat to reflect back to your pet.

Could a self-warming product be used outside?

While our self-warming products are great for the indoors, they are not designed to return enough body heat for the cold outdoor temperatures of winter. Rather, they are designed to elevate the temperature of a pet bed that is already around room temperature.

For outdoor pets, we recommend using the Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Bed, Lectro-Kennel, or Extreme Weather Kitty Pad. These are made for the outdoors and will provide enough heat for an outdoor setting during the cold winter months.

What is the maximum weight supported by a Pet Cot?

Any Pet Cot model will support up to 200 lbs.

Can the fabric cover be replaced, or do I need to purchase a completely new bed?

What is the frame made of?

The frame is made of metal tubing while the corner connectors are made of durable PVC.

Does the cover slide over the sidebars or does it attach with hook & loop fasteners?
