The K&H Duck Waterer gives ducks and other poultry access to drinking water while making it almost impossible for them to play in it.

The reservoir tank is uniquely shaped to discourage perching if you are using this for chickens too.  You will appreciate the easy fill reservoir with the flip-top cap.

The water cups are specifically designed for beaks and bills and have their own removable filters.

Care & Instructions

Refilling

For refilling, quickly turn over the water reservoir. Minimal water discharge will occur if done quickly.

Empty contents from tank, rinse, and refill as necessary.

Cleaning your K&H Waterer

To keep your K&H Waterer clean and free from buildup, follow these simple steps:

  1. Prepare the Cleaning Solution:
    • Add hot water to the waterer bottle.
    • Add 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda.
    • Pour in 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar.
    • Add a handful of small, smooth rocks to the bottle. These will help scrub away any debris during cleaning.
  2. Clean the Bottle:
    • Secure the cap and gently shake the bottle to mix the solution and rocks.
    • Swish the mixture around for a few minutes, allowing the rocks to scrub the inside of the bottle.
  3. Rinse Thoroughly:
    • Empty the solution and rinse the bottle thoroughly with warm water to ensure all baking soda, vinegar, and debris are removed.
    • Let the bottle air dry completely before refilling with fresh water.

The opening has a diameter of 1.75 inches.

How long can a heated product be plugged in?

MET Safety Laboratories suggests unplugging the product if you leave your home on an extended vacation, as they do with any electrical appliance.
